Enable or Disable SMS 2FA

SMS 2FA adds an additional verification step when logging into your account or performing a withdrawal transaction, significantly increasing protection.

What Is SMS 2FA?

SMS 2FA is a two-step verification method that adds an extra layer of protection to the authentication process. To maintain the highest level of account security, CoinTR requires users to register both an email address and a phone number during account creation. This allows the system to send a verification code to your registered phone number whenever there is a login attempt or withdrawal request, ensuring that only you can confirm the transaction.
 

How to Enable or Disable SMS 2FA

  2. Click the “Disable Verification” button next to your registered phone number.
  3. Carefully review the on-screen warning. Once you reset your verification method, withdrawal transactions will be suspended for 24 hours.
    1. However, deposits and trading activities will not be affected.
  4. To complete the security verification, enter your email, SMS, or Google Authenticator (GA) codes and tap Confirm.
