What Is the Anti-Phishing Code?

In cryptocurrency trading, security is not only about protecting assets but also about preventing digital fraud. As one of Türkiye’s most reliable and highest-liquidity crypto exchanges, CoinTR ensures account safety through multiple layers of protection. One of these measures is the Anti-Phishing Code, designed to protect users from fraudulent email attacks.
The Anti-Phishing Code is a personal security phrase created by the user. This code appears in every official email sent by CoinTR, allowing users to confirm the authenticity of the message. If you receive an email that does not contain your Anti-Phishing Code, it means the message was not sent by CoinTR. In that case, do not click on any links or share your account information.
You can always verify the sender’s address using CoinTR’s official verification channel to ensure the message’s legitimacy.
 

How to Set Up an Anti-Phishing Code

  1. Open the CoinTR Security Settings page or tap the profile icon in the mobile app, then go to the Security section.
  2. Click the “Bind” option next to the Set Anti-Phishing Code button or select Settings next to the Anti-Phishing Code field.

  1. Enter your chosen code in the designated field and click Submit.
  2. Complete the security verification by entering your email, SMS, or Google Authenticator (GA) codes, then click Confirm.
  3. Once your request is approved, you will see your Anti-Phishing Code displayed at the bottom of every official email sent by CoinTR.
 

How to Recognize Phishing Emails

  • The sender’s address may look similar to CoinTR but is slightly different.
  • Be cautious if the email encourages you to click a link or log in.
  • If the email does not include your CoinTR Anti-Phishing Code, do not take any action.
