What Is Fund Password? How to Change It?

In the cryptocurrency market, security is one of the most critical elements for protecting user assets. One of the most important components of this system is the Fund Password.
The fund password provides an additional verification layer for high-security transactions such as fiat or crypto withdrawals. This extra step prevents unauthorized transfers and ensures that only you can access your account. To keep your assets safe, setting up a fund password is mandatory.
 

How to Set Up a Fund Password

  1. Log in to your CoinTR account.
  2. Click the profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen and go to “ Security Settings .”
  3. On the page that opens, locate the “Fund Password” row (6th option) and click the “Bind” button to create your password.

The fund password is completely independent of your login password and is designed to be used only during critical transactions.
 

What to Do If You Forget Your Fund Password

  1. Go to the “Security Settings” section and click “Forgot Fund Password?”
  2. You will be asked to create a new fund password.
    1. The fund password is separate from your login password.
    2. It must be 8–32 characters long and contain at least two character types (letters, numbers, and symbols).
During this process, you may need to complete identity verification. After resetting your fund password, withdrawal transactions will be suspended for 24 hours in accordance with CoinTR’s security policy. This measure is implemented to prevent unauthorized access and to protect user assets.

Any fund password change is automatically monitored by the system to maintain account security. During this period, users can continue to trade and deposit, but withdrawals remain temporarily disabled for 24 hours for security reasons.
