Password Reset and Change

How to Reset Your Password

To reset the password for your CoinTR account, please follow the steps below:
  1. Open the Forgot Password page. On the mobile app, tap the “Forgot your password?” button located at the bottom of the login screen.

  1. Enter your registered email address or phone number.
  2. Complete the security verification by entering the codes sent via email, SMS , or Google Authenticator (GA).
  3. Once verified, you can create a new password on the next screen.
These steps allow you to securely regain access to your account if you have forgotten your password.
 

How to Change Your Password

If you already have access to your account and want to change your password, follow these steps:
  1. Open the Security Settings Page or go to the Security section in the CoinTR mobile app.
  2. Click the Edit button next to the Login Password field.
  3. Enter your current and new passwords in the respective fields.
  4. Complete the verification by entering the codes sent via email, SMS, or Google Authenticator (GA) and tap Confirm.
 

Password Security Tips

  • Your password should be 8–32 characters long.
  • Include at least one number, one uppercase letter, and one special character.
  • Never share your password with anyone for your own safety.
  • CoinTR staff will never ask for your password under any circumstances.

According to CoinTR’s security policies, withdrawal transactions cannot be made for 24 hours following any changes to security settings. This precaution is automatically applied as part of CoinTR’s asset protection policy. During this period, the system monitors account integrity and prevents potentially risky transactions.
