How to Deposit TRY on Web?

You can quickly start cryptocurrency trading by depositing Turkish Lira (TRY) into your CoinTR account. The TRY deposit process works the same on both the website and mobile app and can be completed in just a few steps.
The guide below explains the web TRY deposit process step by step.
 

Step 1: Log In to Your Account

  • Open the CoinTR app or website.
  • Log in to your account.
  • If you don’t have an account, you must register first.
 

Step 2: Go to the TRY Deposit Section

  • Go to the Assets section from the main menu.
  • Open the Deposit option.
  • Select TRY (Turkish Lira) as the fiat currency. You can also start directly by clicking the “Deposit TRY” button.
 

Step 3: Select Your Bank

Choose the bank you want to use on the TRY deposit screen. Once selected, the system will display:
  • The bank-specific IBAN number
  • The account name
 

Step 4: Send TRY via EFT / Transfer / FAST

Using the IBAN and account name, you can transfer TRY from a bank account registered in your own name to your CoinTR account.
Supported methods:
  • FAST: Usually credited instantly
  • Bank Transfer (Havale): Typically completed within 2 minutes
  • EFT: Processed only during banking hours; after-hours EFT will be credited on the next business day
Important Note: The identity information on your CoinTR account must match the account owner information at your bank. Transfers sent from an account with a different name will not be processed.
 

Step 5: Wait for the Funds to Be Credited

Once the transfer is completed, your TRY balance will be reflected in your CoinTR account shortly. After the funds are credited, you can start buying and selling cryptocurrencies through the Markets or Spot Trading page.

Can I deposit TRY outside working hours?
Yes. You can deposit TRY 24/7 as long as FAST or bank transfer is available. EFT is processed only during working hours.
I deposited TRY but it hasn’t been reflected in my account. What should I do?
  • If you use EFT outside working hours, it will be processed on the next business day.
  • There may be an error with the IBAN or reference information.
  • Bank congestion may cause delays.
