Notes When Depositing Turkish Lira (TRY)

In cryptocurrency markets, secure deposit transactions are critical for protecting users’ assets. As one of Türkiye’s most reliable and highly liquid cryptocurrency exchanges, CoinTR only accepts TRY deposits made through bank accounts registered in the user’s own name.
This policy ensures both the protection of user funds and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Therefore, transfers made from bank accounts belonging to other individuals will not be credited to your CoinTR account and will be automatically refunded.
 

Why Is Matching Bank Information Important?

To maintain a secure trading environment, CoinTR associates each user account with identity verification (KYC). As a result, the bank account information used during the deposit must match the identity information on your CoinTR account. If the details do not match, the system will reject the transaction for security reasons, and the funds will be returned to the sender’s bank.
 

Supported TRY Transfer Methods and Hours

  • Partner Banks (Havale): Instant TRY deposits are available 24/7 through CoinTR’s partner banks.
  • FAST Transfers: Transfers up to 100,000 TRY can be made 24/7 through all banks.
  • EFT Transactions: Deposits from non-partner banks are processed on business days between 09:00 and 16:45.
 

Tips for Safe TRY Deposits

  • Ensure that the name on your bank account exactly matches your CoinTR account name.
  • Always include your UID number in the transaction description.
  • Check your bank’s FAST and EFT limits before making a transfer.
  • Only use official CoinTR bank details for deposits.
 

Unsupported Deposit Methods

You cannot deposit Turkish Lira into your CoinTR account through the following methods:
  • Electronic payment wallets ( Papara, PayFix, Nays)
  • Credit or debit cards
  • ATMs
Transactions made through these channels will not be credited to your account and are automatically refunded by the system.
