Google 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)

In the cryptocurrency market, security is one of the most critical factors in protecting user assets. As one of Türkiye’s most reliable crypto exchanges with the highest liquidity, CoinTR supports the Google 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) system to strengthen account security for all users.
This feature ensures that access to your account requires not only a password but also a unique verification code, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access. Activating Google 2FA enhances account protection for both individual investors and corporate users on CoinTR. By following the steps below, you can easily enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your CoinTR account.
 

How to Activate Google 2FA

  1. Open the CoinTR app or visit the website.
  2. Log in using your username and password.
  3. Tap the profile icon in the upper-right corner and go to “Security Settings.”
  4. On the opened page, select “Google Authenticator.” A QR code and a manual key will appear on the screen.
  5. Download the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
    1. Tap the “+” icon → select “Scan a QR code.”
    2. Or choose “Enter a setup key manually.”
  6. Enter the key from your CoinTR account into the Google Authenticator app or scan the QR code.
    1. Note: Be sure to back up this key in a secure location. It will be required if you ever need to reset your 2FA.
  7. The Google Authenticator app will generate a 6-digit verification code for your CoinTR account.
    1. Enter this code into the corresponding field on CoinTR to complete the setup.
 

Security and Withdrawal Restriction

Due to security policies, withdrawal transactions are disabled for 24 hours following any verification or security-related changes. This measure is automatically enforced as part of CoinTR’s commitment to protecting user assets and preventing unauthorized access.
