Announcement on Account Closure and Re-Verification Process

Dear CoinTR Users,
In line with decisions taken within the scope of compliance and operational processes, a new implementation regarding account closure and account re-verification processes for CoinTR users will come into effect as of
January 29, 2026.
Within this scope, each user will be entitled to close their account a maximum of
two (2) times.
The details of the implementation are as follows:

A user may close their account after opening it for the first time and successfully completing the identity verification (KYC) process.

A user who has closed their account may open a second account and complete the KYC process again using their Turkish Republic Identification Number.

During the second account closure process, the user will be shown the following warning: “If you close your account, you will not be able to complete the KYC process again.”

Despite this warning, if the user proceeds to close their account, they will not be able to complete the identity verification (KYC) process even if they open an account for the third time.
