In order to facilitate account interoperability and KYC information synchronization between CoinTR and Bitget, certain personal data may be transferred from CoinTR to Bitget when you choose to open a Bitget account through CoinTR.

1. Data Controller

CoinTR Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu A.Ş. (“CoinTR”) processes your personal data in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and applicable data protection legislation.

If you choose to open a Bitget account through CoinTR, certain personal data may be transferred to the relevant Bitget entity for the purposes described below.

2. Purpose of the Data Transfer

If you select the “Create a Bitget Account” option through CoinTR, certain personal data may be transferred to Bitget for the purposes of:

• facilitating the creation of your Bitget account;
• pre-filling certain registration and identification information;
• initiating Bitget’s customer identification and verification (“KYC”) process; and
• reducing the need for you to re-enter information that you have already provided to CoinTR.

The transfer will only be initiated when you choose to proceed with the Bitget account-opening process.

3. Personal Data That May Be Transferred

Depending on the requirements of the account-opening process, the following categories of personal data may be transferred to Bitget:

• Contact information: email address;
• Identity information: name, surname, date of birth, nationality, identification/passport type and identification/passport number;
• Identity verification information: identification document image and information relating to your KYC verification status with CoinTR; and
• Technical and transaction-related information: limited information necessary to securely initiate and complete the account-opening and identity-verification process.

Only personal data necessary for the relevant purposes will be transferred.

4. Bitget KYC Verification

The transfer of your information from CoinTR to Bitget does not constitute final KYC approval by Bitget.

Bitget performs its own customer identification and verification procedures in accordance with its applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

You may therefore be required to complete additional verification steps directly with Bitget, including facial and/or liveness verification through Bitget’s designated identity-verification provider.

Bitget may also request additional information or documentation as part of its own customer acceptance and compliance procedures.

5. Recipient and International Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to the relevant Bitget entity and, where necessary, its authorized service providers solely for the purposes described above.

Where the relevant recipient or data-processing infrastructure is located outside Türkiye, the transfer will be carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK and applicable legislation governing international transfers of personal data, using the applicable international data-transfer mechanism.

6. Bitget’s Independent Processing Activities

Following the transfer, personal data processed by Bitget for the operation of its platform, customer onboarding, KYC/AML controls, account security, regulatory compliance and other purposes determined by Bitget will be subject to Bitget’s applicable privacy notice and data-protection terms.

Bitget independently determines whether your application is accepted, rejected or subject to additional verification requirements.

Opening or maintaining a CoinTR account does not guarantee the opening or continued availability of a Bitget account.
